2. The Service

DEXPIRY keeps your receipts, products and warranties in one place. Receipts reach your account when merchants send them to your DEXPIRY e-mail address or when you scan or upload them in the app. For eligible purchases DEXPIRY creates digital warranties.

Merchants use the merchant portal to send receipts and manage their products and warranties.

3. Account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret.
• You are responsible for activity in your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, tell us without delay.
• The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

4. Automatic reading of receipts

Receipts are read automatically, including with AI models from Anthropic. Product names and merchant product codes are matched to products with a model from TypeSafe AI (Jev). Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Automatic reading can make mistakes. The original receipt remains the record of your purchase; check important data, such as the purchase date or the warranty period, against it.

5. Digital warranties

A digital warranty in DEXPIRY is a record of a warranty granted by the merchant or manufacturer. The warranty itself and your statutory rights as a consumer are governed by the merchant's or manufacturer's terms and by law; DEXPIRY is not the warrantor.

Some warranty records are linked to blockchain identifiers. They are not a cryptocurrency, a means of payment or an investment.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• upload forged receipts, other people's receipts or unlawful content;
• misuse your DEXPIRY e-mail address, for example for spam;
• try to access other users' data or disrupt the Service.

7. Merchants

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of the receipts and product data they send and for the warranties they grant. They may send receipts only to DEXPIRY addresses that their customers have given them. Separate agreements may apply to merchants.

8. Fees

Some features may require a paid subscription. The price and conditions are shown before you buy.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available and its data accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free data.

To the extent permitted by law, DEXPIRY is not liable for indirect damage or for losses caused by incorrect data read from receipts. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

10. Ending use of the Service

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete account & data). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will inform users of material changes through a notice on the website or by e-mail at least 15 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
